Welcome to LootQuest (“we,” “us,” “our“). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of https://lootquest.net (the “Site“) and our services, including the purchase, sale, and delivery of digital goods such as game skins and in‑game items (the “Services“). By using the Site and Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
  • If you use the Services on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Services Description

  • LootQuest operates a digital marketplace/store for game skins and in‑game items. Items may be delivered via Steam trade offers or as activation codes/keys, depending on the product.
  • We do not host, create, or modify the underlying game content. All trademarks and game IP (e.g., Valve/Steam) remain the property of their respective owners.
  • Payments are processed securely through integrated third‑party gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

3. Accounts & Security

  • You may need an account to place orders or access certain features.
  • Provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activities under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in policy violations, fraud, or abuse.

4. Orders, Pricing & Payment

  • By placing an order, you agree to pay the total shown at checkout (including taxes/fees).
  • Prices are listed in EUR (€) unless stated otherwise and may change at any time prior to order confirmation.
  • We may refuse or cancel orders (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing/availability errors). If payment was taken, we will refund the canceled order amount.

5. Delivery & Fulfilment

  • Steam Trade Offers: After payment confirmation, we will send your item(s) to the Steam trade URL you provide. Delivery is typically within minutes to a few hours, but times may vary.
  • Activation Codes/Keys: Delivered to the email associated with your order/account or displayed once in your account area.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate details (e.g., valid email, correct trade URL, trade‑ready Steam account settings, absence of trade holds/restrictions). We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details or third‑party platform restrictions.

6. Seller Features & Payouts (If Applicable)

If the Site allows you to list and sell items:

  • Listing & Availability: You must select the correct game/category and ensure the item remains available until sold. Listings may be reviewed and rejected for policy violations.
  • Fees: A 10% marketplace commission applies to the final sale price (unless otherwise stated on the Site).
  • Payouts: Minimum €10, maximum €5,000 per payout request. Provide valid payout details in My Account → Payout Details. Payouts may be delayed for risk checks.
  • Compliance (AML/KYC): We may require identity verification or additional information before processing payouts. We may withhold, delay, or cancel payouts in case of suspected fraud or regulatory issues.

7. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

  • For digital content, statutory withdrawal rights may be limited or not apply once delivery/performance begins with your express consent. However, we aim to be fair:
    • We will consider refunds or exchanges if a code is invalid or an item cannot be delivered due to our fault, provided you contact support within 48 hours of receipt.
    • Where permitted, returns/refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase; eligibility depends on item type and delivery status.
  • Order cancellations before payment can be requested through support. After payment, fulfillment may begin immediately.
  • We reserve the right to investigate refund requests and may require evidence (e.g., screenshots, logs).

8. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws/regulations.
  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Interfere with Site security or operations.
  • Use bots/scrapers or automated tools to extract data.
  • Engage in payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or unauthorized resale/distribution of codes.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Site content (text, graphics, logos, software) is owned by LootQuest or its licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
  • Third‑Party IP: Dota 2, Counter‑Strike, Steam, and related IP are owned by their respective rights holders (e.g., Valve). We do not claim ownership.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • We strive for accurate listings and reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, LootQuest and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data/goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Services.
  • We are not responsible for third‑party platform actions (e.g., Steam restrictions, trade holds) that may affect delivery or use of items.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LootQuest, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or breach of law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violations of these Terms or suspected fraudulent/abusive activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

14. Third‑Party Links

The Site may contain links to third‑party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Access at your own risk.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
